How We Define Ourselves
As my business evolves and grows, I have been thinking about whether to change the name of my business to something that illuminates the spirit of who I am and what I do in the world. To do so takes no shortage of effort and paperwork, but it might be a worthwhile investment of time to help tell the story of how I help change peoples’ lives.
While I provide many of the same types of services that my colleagues in the fields of Organizing and Productivity provide, there seems to be some unnamed magic process that unfolds for both my clients & myself during our time together. It seems to be a bit fairy godmother and a bit of soul coaching as well. A number of my clients have made major shifts and changes in their lives after working closely together. It can surprise both of us when initially we set off an adventure to clean out some closets.
In defining the essence of who I am and the work I do ~ a perfect harmony of the two words that speak most closely to it are:
NURTURE ~ Promote the GROWTH of others ~ Positively PASSIONATE about GROWING, LEARNING and TEACHING ~ Pursuit of EXPLORATION ~ ELEVATION ~ ENLIGHTENMENT ~ EXPERIENCE ~ GRACE ~SAVVY ~ SOPHISTICATION ~ REFINEMENT
SEARCHING for CREATIVE MEANING ~ Habitually REFLECTIVE ~ Looking for SYNCHRONICITY & LESSONS in everything ~ INTERCONNECTEDNESS ~ Endeavor to have AWARENESS of MATERIALS & RESOURCES ~ Channels of COMMUNICATION ~DESIGNED to live in SERVICE to the WHOLE ~ GRACEFUL DESIGN ~ ADVISOR ~ BLESSED ~ ENDURING
What Does a Cultivated Divine Advisor Do?
REFLECTS a soul’s LIGHT and shows them their MAGNIFICENCE
Thinks about the LONG TERM or ENDURING over immediate gratification
Seeks NOURISHMENT from the good things and JOY in life
Reflects on lessons interwoven in the not so good things in life (remember folks, LIFE IS MESSY)
Remembers a soul’s ROOTS and FOUNDATION on which they built this life
Helps CLEAR all of the CLUTTER and DEBRIS that sometimes choke the roots and strangle the GROWTH we YEARN for in this life
And this is how I define myself. The work I do and who I am are inextricably intertwined. Cultivated Divine is outward facing and about service to help others move roadblocks and stuff out of the way.
